Includes mechanically reworked/moisture conditioned building pads, water injection, chemical injection, and soil replacement. Moisture conditioning of active building sub-grade soils is generally the most cost effective way to mitigate soil movement. Soils are excavated, mixed with water to achieve their maximum swell potential, and then replaced at proper compaction under close testing lab supervision. Ten Hagen Excavating prepares dozens of building pads in this way every year, and we are equipped and have the experience to do them quickly, efficiently, and, most importantly, properly.
